9. Lying in bed listening to the rain outside.
10. Hot towels fresh out of the dryer.
11. Chocolate milkshake (vanilla or strawberry).
12. A bubble bath.
13. Giggling.
14. A good conversation.
15. The beach
16. Finding a 20 dollar bill in your coat fromlast winter.
17. Laughing at yourself.
18. Looking into their eyes and knowing they love you
19. Midnight phone calls that last for hours.
20. Running through sprinklers.
21. Laughing for absolutely no reason at all.
22. Having someone tell you that you're beautiful.
23. Laughing at an inside joke

25. Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you.
26. Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep.
27. Your first kiss (either the very first or with a new partner).
28. Making new friends or spending time with old ones.

33. Road trips with friends.

Beautiful list! You've inspired me tomake one for myself, and so many of your "things in red" would be mine too. (Big surprise!!!!) I think of you every day, especially when I look at Naomi, so sweet, and becoming quite comfortable with the other's,I might add. She's confidently taking over some of their favorite spots in the house. Both of our laps, our bed at night, and the sunny window in the kitchen. Sappho and Figgy are wondering just what the hell they're going to do about it. She's a joy. We love her. It is so fun reading about your adventures, Nicole. Sounds like things are going beautifully, aside from the daily construction noice, uhhh. We miss you, and I hope you will email me sometime. I miss so much talking to you and your mother. I'm leaving for Fresno tomorrow to go meet my first GRANDCHILD!!!! Jacob, Jr. Can't wait. I'll email pictures.
